Study from a very early Toulouse-Lautrec painting. Prep for a larger piece. Which is somewhat ugly and I probably won't upload to my main gallery. Something of a breakthrough for me, because my profiles have sucked until very recently. ;)

Thanks. It's kinda strange, he almost always portrayed prostitutes, but a lot of the time, instead of looking beaten and downtrodden, they're strong and proud.

I REALLY like this one a lot. It's just so well done in all it's sketchy glory! I don't believe I've seen the original, but I think your version is totally fly.

I'm in an advanced drawing class, so I have the freedom to choose my own outside project. :) I'm copying the work of the masters/artists I find influential.

Wow, what a wonderful profile! Pardon me for going all cheesy-artsy, but the lines really excite me. xD And those little dashes of color are fun as well. Even for just a study, it's a really nice piece!
